What the college says
The course is intended for students who wish to pursue and develop their studies of Photography. Students will have the opportunity to produce work in a number of photographic areas, such as portraiture, landscape, documentary and experimental imagery. Students are introduced to a range of digital photographic and editing techniques and will undertake practical coursework projects involving recording observations & experiences, analysing sources, developing ideas, researching photographers/artists and the production of final images.
What you need to get on
Grade 5-9 in GCSE Photography or Art. Or a passion for the subject demonstrated in a portfolio.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.

The A-level-equivalent step, and what universities and employers ask for.
