A level history is a challenging and rewarding subject which is widely valued by both universities and employers. An a level in history opens many doors to a range of careers and future study. Students cover elements of both British and World History; Year 12 consists of a 17th Century British study of the Early Stuarts and the origins of the Civil War 1603-1660, and a European History study of Russia 1894-1941. In Year 13 Students will study Popular Culture and the Witchcraze of the 16th and 17th Centuries, drawing on a number of examples from a wide range of European countries as well as America
