Statistics focuses on collecting and analysing data and using it to make predictions. Mechanics uses maths to model and analyse the physical world around us, including the study of forces and motion.Mechanics is particularly useful to students studying physics and engineering. Decision Maths looks at using algorithms to find efficient solutions to real life problems. The techniques are important in business, logistics and computer science.
