What the college says

Students will be expected to complete bridging work in the summer after GCSE and pass an introductory test which is taken during New Sixth form Week. Students will need to enjoy the subject and have a fairly logical and analytical mind in order to succeed. The subject is hard work and will require a great degree of self-determination. Students will also be required to attend tutorial sessions on a Tuesday/Wednesday after school as and when required.

What you need to get on

GCSE English grade (9-4) and higher tier Maths at grade 7 plus 3 GCSEs at grades 9-4. Students who get a 6 in their Maths GCSE will be considered on an individual basis

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
