What the college says

The A-Level course is a mixture of pure core modules and applied modules. The Pure Core modules provide the techniques in Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry and Calculus that form the fundamental building block of the subject. The Mechanics applied module covers Motion, Modelling using Constant Acceleration, Forces, Vectors, Projectiles, Momentum and Friction.

What you need to get on

6 grades A*-C including 2 grade Bs; 2 or more of English, Maths and Science at A*-C; grade A in GCSE Mathematics plus grade B or above in Physics or Additional Science

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
