If you choose to study A-Level Mathematics you will develop concepts and ideas old and new. Topics from GCSE mathematics will be taken much further, even into the abstract. Areas covered include: Core Maths: Algebra, coordinate geometry, sequences and series, calculus, graph sketching Mechanics: Kinematics, newton's laws of motion, vectors, moments, forces Statistics: Measures of dispersion and spread, measures of location, probability, normal distribution, expected and random variables

5 GCSE @ Grade 5+ including and English and Maths. GCSE Maths must be Grade 7+
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
