What is the course about? Developing your skills in the areas of pure maths, statistics and mechanics. Applying these skills in a wide range of situations - from heavy duty problems to the more light-hearted, such as the UKMT Senior Maths Challenge. What kind of students is this course suitable for? Students who wish to develop their mathematical skills beyond GCSE, and who want to keep open the possibility of pursuing mathematics or science to degree Level and beyond.It will also be a useful support to anyone whose main interest is in applying mathematics to their main subject of interest, e.g. Sciences, Design, Computing, Economics and the Social Sciences.
