What the college says

Art A Level is a course designed for those individuals who have previous Art experience at GCSE. Within the projects studied, you foster and develop a higher level of drawing, media use and strive for a creative approach and visual journey in your work. Testing and experimentation is paramount to your learning and is used throughout the course. You will be encouraged to visit local and national galleries independently, where you look at the work of others as inspiration. You will be pro-active in taking your own photographs to explore ideas and record what interests you. This course provides links to English using subject specific vocabulary, annotations, and critical understanding of your own work and that of others.
