The Graphics course gives you the opportunity to develop a personal and structured approach to project work. You?ll explore ideas and materials, develop your critical faculties in both practical and written work and acquire a high level of design, presentation and making skills.This is a specialised course that involves work in areas of illustration, advertising graphics and typography.

What you need to get on

General College entry requirements. Grade 4 or above in Art, GCSE Graphics or a related area, such as GCSE Design Technology. GCSE English grade 4 or above is recommended.Pass at Level 2, if you have studied BTEC Art and Design/Art and Design.Pass at Level 2, if you studied for an Extended Certificate/Art and Design Diploma.Students without GCSE in Art or a related subject will need to present a folder of work for negotiation, which must include at least one drawing made from direct observation.
