This qualification enables learners to develop the knowledge and skills necessary for working in a supervised role with adults in Health and Social Care settings. The course will cover a wide range of areas including supporting individuals with their physical and emotional care, daily living needs and health care procedures.All learners are required to apply for a DBS as a part of their work experience requirements for this course. This costs approximately £50.

4 GCSEs at grade 3 or above including Maths and English Language
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
