Are you ready to take your cooking skills to the next level? The Junior Chefs Academy – Gold Level is perfect for aspiring young chefs aged 11–15 who are passionate about food and ready to explore new culinary techniques in a real professional kitchen. Across this exciting programme, you’ll build on your existing kitchen confidence while learning essential knife skills, how to work safely and hygienically, and how to clean as you go, all under the guidance of our experienced head chefs. You’ll master a variety of cooking methods including boiling, steaming, frying and baking, and gain valuable experience in preparing dishes to professional standards. You’ll also get a taste of the world through our Cultural Capital Cuisine focus, where you’ll explore flavours from countries like Mexico, China, and France, adding variety and inspiration to your culinary journey. From week one, you’ll be issued with your very own chef whites, which must be worn to every session. Classes run on Tuesdays from 4:30pm to 7:00pm, 20th January 2026 - 3rd March 2026. On the final week - 3rd March - you’ll showcase your skills by preparing a two-course graduation dinner for your family and guests in our Horizons restaurant. You’ll cook and serve the meal, and take part in a special awards ceremony, receiving your certificate and badge of achievement.
