This qualification is for you if you want to get a foothold in the electrical industry and are keen to progress to further study. You will have the opportunity to pick up some core skills and knowledge and progress onto our Level 2 Electrical Installation qualification.Not only will this course teach you the basic skills and knowledge of Electrical Installation, but you will also develop excellent professional skills during your studies, equipping you for life in the workplace. The importance of resilience and increasing confidence to work independently is strongly developed in this Level 1 programme.

What you need to get on

Four GCSEs including Maths Grade 4, English Grade 3 and Science. It is expected that the applicant will have a genuine interest in the industry and each applicant will be required to attend an interview to ascertain his/her suitability for the course as well as take and pass a short aptitude test.

How you are assessed

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
