This Level 1 Diploma is the starting point if you have no previous experience within the Electrotechnical sector. The qualification enables you to develop your practical skills and enable you to demonstrate your ability to complete common tasks within the industry. The course does not lead directly to a job, but does provide students with the basic core skills training and underpinning knowledge to facilitate progression into further vocational learning such as the level 2 Diploma, which will enable students to work as an electrician's mate, Experienced Worker route pathway or into the apprenticeship programme. This qualification is an invaluable building block for students wishing to embark on a career within the Building Services Industry.Upon successful completion, students will have the opportunity to progress onto their next level of vocational learning within the Electrotechnical sector.
