The content has been selected to provide a modern, relevant and exciting A Level History course whilst retaining the academic rigour for which the subject is respected. It is one of the few A levels which has been allowed to retain coursework, allowing students to further develop their ability to learn independently.

At least 8 9-5 grades at GCSE, including English Language and Mathematics. Grade 6 in GCSE History; if not studied Grade 6 in GCSE English Literature
