If you have an interest in the past and how it shapes the world we live in today, and want to understand about our culture and heritage then this course will appeal to you. By being better informed about the past, it does enable us to better understand the present. Moreover, many of the international issues of today have their origins deep in the past.

What you need to get on

You�ll need a minimum of five GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, including Grade 4 in Maths and Grade 6 in English Language. If you�ve studied History before, a Grade 4 is also required.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
