History A Level
at Hagley Catholic High School, Stourbridge · school or sixth form
What the college says
History pupils will be following an exciting new curriculum which will present the opportunity to study a wide range of significant topics. You will explore modules in Anglo-Saxon England and the Norman Conquest 1035-1107, Russia 1894 - 1941 and the Origins of the British Empire 1558-1783. You will also complete an independent piece of research into an historical issue of your choice, which can be from any time period or topic that you wish to examine. The feedback we have received from pupils who have studied these modules since September 2015 has been overwhelmingly positive.
