History is diverse, engaging and thought provoking. The course covers key periods of History and provides a strong foundation to build upon for students who go on to study the subject at University. This brand new course offers students a wide range of historical perspectives to study and explore with key topics spanning from the origins of the Russian Revolution in the late 1800s to the inauguration of President Obama in 2009. Modules have been chosen with the hope of inspiring Post-16 students so that they can share our enthusiasm for the subject and understand its intrinsic value and significance in today’s ever-changing world.

What you need to get on

Grade 5 in English Language and Mathematics and at least three more GCSEs at grade B or above. Also a B grade or grade 6 at GCSE in this subject

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
