What the college says
Fashion & Textiles allows you to pursue your own creative design ideas within a series of structured projects. You will develop your own design briefs and make a range of different samples, prototypes and final products, researching consumer preferences and fashion marketing as well as analysing existing products.
What you need to get on
Grade 6 in GCSE Textiles. Without a GCSE in D&T, you can provide alternative evidence of your aptitude for the subject at interview.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
