This course will be of relevance to anyone who is creative, loves hands on practical lessons, can use their imagination to realise ideas inspired by historical and contemporary textile artists and their own personal research through the predominant use of fabric and fabric-based experimental techniques. It is for those pupils who want to combine Art and Textiles design, with the emphasis being on Textiles.

What you need to get on

All A level courses or TWO A levels and ONE vocational course: Students must achieve a min of 5 subjects at GCSE grades 4 or above (including English Language and Maths) PLUS the relevant subject specific entry requirements. For a programme of 2 vocational courses and one A level: we would accept ONE KS4 level 2 Merit in place of a GCSE For a programme of 3 vocational courses only: we would accept TWO KS4 level 2 Merits in place of 2 GCSEs, full entry requirements can be found in our prospectus.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
