Students will explore a wide range of photographic techniques throughout Y12 such as portraiture, lighting, motion/freeze, photograms, chemigrams, documentary style, film photography, developing and printing film, experimental darkroom work-scratching, double exposure, liquid light, cyanotypes… to name a few, but also work and document their work in a range of ways through journals, sketchbook, digital presentations, website/blog development and video.

What you need to get on

All A level courses or TWO A levels and ONE vocational course: Students must achieve a min of 5 subjects at GCSE grades 4 or above (including English Language and Maths) PLUS the relevant subject specific entry requirements. For a programme of 2 vocational courses and one A level: we would accept ONE KS4 level 2 Merit in place of a GCSE For a programme of 3 vocational courses only: we would accept TWO KS4 level 2 Merits in place of 2 GCSEs, full entry requirements can be found in our prospectus.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
