The course also aims to provide: - confidence, initiative, a sense of adventure and achievement; the acquisition of a relevant working vocabulary and an awareness and appreciation of Art and Design, and the individual, within cultural contexts. Over the two years students will complete 2 Units, with the externally set assignment (component 2) beginning February of Year 13 and including a 15hr exam. This gives students the opportunity to really show what they are capable of producing after two intensive years developing their skills and knowledge
What you need to get on
Minimum seven passes at grades 5-9, including at least grades 6 in English and Mathematics. In order to study a subject at A-level a student must have achieved at least a grade 7 at GCSE in that subject In order to study further Mathematics, a student must have achieved at least a grade 8 in Mathematics at GCSE level
