Sociology at A-level gives students a chance to examine in analytical detail the society in which they live. It covers a range of social issues, such as crime and education and allows students to develop the ability to gain fresh insights into issues relevant to their lives and pertinent to their future. Students will also develop a wide range of transferable skills such as critical analysis, debating and independent thinking.
