Sociology is the study of society - how people interact in groups. A Level Sociology examines social behaviour from a variety of perspectives: how it originates, then develops and the ways people are organised into groups according to distinctions such as class, gender and race. Students will study AQA A Level Sociology which provides learners with the opportunity to develop an understanding of our changing society as well as opportunities to learn about sociological methods, theories and research. You will look at topics such as education, research methods and crime and deviance plus other contemporary topics/issues

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
