What the college says
Students will study Physics in a range of contexts, building on their knowledge of the 'laws of physics' and applying their understanding to a range of problems ranging from sub-atomic particles to the entire universe. Students will refine mathematical and practical skills that are embedded in the six modules covered in the duration of the course: Development of practical skills in Physics; Foundations of Physics; Forces and motion; Electrons, Waves and photons; Newtonian World and Astrophysics and; particles and Medical Physics.
What you need to get on
Grade 9-5 (A*-C) in five GCSEs including a minimum grade 6 in English and grade 7 in Mathematics.Plus, a minimum grade 6 in GCSE Science and Additional Science or in GCSE Physics.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
