Physics is especially suited to students who are interested in ‘how things work’ and who wish to understand and predict the behaviour of the material world around us. Physics is also a good choice for students who wish to equip themselves with the skills to analyse situations, report findings, solve problems, and invent new products and processes.

What you need to get on

A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 (grade C) or above including a grade 6 (grade B) in maths and grade 5 (grade B) in Science. Study of A level maths is recommended.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
