Mathematics is timeless. The skills that are learnt at Mathematics A level are not only transferable, in terms of analytical and problem solving skills, they are directly applicable to a wide range of jobs and higher education courses.

What you need to get on

Grade 7-9 in GCSE Mathematics. Although not essential, AQA GCSE Further Maths or the Edexcel level 2 Extended Maths Certificate will be useful as this provides a good foundation to the course at A Level. Baseline testing will be carried out in the first few weeks of Year 12, to further assess suitability and support students.
