What the college says
On the 19th Century (c1815 - 1914) history course, we currently study and analyse the history of both England, Europe and the USA during this period, including political reform in Britain and German Nationalism. You will also be required to take a document paper which will require considerable amounts of reading and the study of contemporary accounts and documents. You will find that group work and discussion are distinctive features of the course.
