Economics is all about the key issues facing us today i.e. poverty, unemployment and inflation. It is essentially about the choices people make – as consumers, workers, producers and government, and the result of these choices. Studying Economics will allow students to: • develop an understanding of real life economic concepts and theories • evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the market economy and the role of government within it • develop a critical approach to various economic theories

GCSE grades 5 in English and a grade 6 in Maths.
