Economics outlins how the allocation of societys scare resourses amongst the many alternative uses to which they could be put. In Economics youll look at the fundamental forces that which affect our lives, such as employment, prices, international trade and proverty. Economists are often in healthy debate with each other over these issues. It is this Controversy which makes Economics livelyand interesting and which allows you the opportunity to make your own judgements and opinions.

What you need to get on

5 x GCSEs at Grade 5 or above, plus a Grade 5 in GCSE ENGLISH LANGUAGE or ENGLISH LITERATURE and a Grade 6 in GCSE MATHS

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
