The course is best suited to those who are able to think logically and are very good at problem-solving. For this reason, students will need at least a Grade 6 at GCSE in Computer Science, and Maths with Grade 7 or higher recommended. It is not recommended to undertake this A Level if you have not previously studied Computer Science unless you can show that you have extensive experience in a high-level programming language (e.g. Python, Java, C++, C#, VB.Net etc.).
