Advances in technology are accelerating exponentially and the use of computer-centric devices are transforming the way people work and live. But how does it all work and what is the advanced science behind it? Take this option and you will be transported to a whole new depth of learning the foundations of the expanding modern world of technology. A range of tools are used to expand our learning, including many structured online resources. Combined with specialist teaching by the Computer Science teachers, you will move to a new level of independence in the subject, which combined with the opportunity to work with like-minded peers will prepare you for Further and Higher education in the subject, a computing based apprenticeship, or even employment in the realms of technology. We work in small groups to explore deeper into the theory of Computer Science, while also pushing our coding and technical skills to new frontiers Combined with specialist teaching by the Computer Science teachers, you will move to a new level of independence in the subject, which combined with the opportunity to work with like-minded peers will prepare you for Further and Higher education in the subject, or even employment in the realms of technology. What you need to get on

GCSE Computer Science: grade 6 GCSE Maths: grade 6 To study A Level Computer Science, you will need to think logically, as well as laterally and methodically, to solve tasks and resolve coding errors. You will have an interest in identifying steps to solve problems. You will also develop the ability to abstract essential information from situations to identify efficient solutions. You will be interested in computing-centric mathematical approaches.
