What the college says
Advanced Level Art and Design (Fine Art) is an exciting and dynamic course, fuelled by the study of contemporary as well as historical works of art. You will develop your skills in working with various media and processes, investigating the changes and how you can alter a piece. You will produce a personal portfolio of work in response to your stimulus and will also produce a body of work for a stimulus set bu the exam board.
What you need to get on
Grade 6 or above in GCSE Art. All Level 3 courses have a standard requirement of 5 GCSEs 9 -4.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.

The A-level-equivalent step, and what universities and employers ask for.
