What the college says

This course is for students who want to continue studying Art after GCSE. At Loreto, we offer 2 separate A level options which are different endorsements from the same AQA specification; therefore you must opt for one or the other. Both courses follow exactly the same structure and are designed to encourage self-expression and creativity through a number of individual projects. You are given the opportunity to work on your own lines of enquiry and to develop strong independent learning skills that are essential for higher education in any subject. Art also looks good on your CV as all Universities like to see evidence of a creative subject within your qualifications. This demonstrates versatility and problem solving skills, even if you are not intending to take the subject any further.
