What the college says

The course allows you to develop themes such as: the figure, natural forms, still life, landscape and location and issue based work. As well as participating in skill-based workshops and receiving regular one-to-one tutorials, you will have the flexibility to work independently and further extend your existing knowledge through the freedom of working in a wide range of disciplines including drawing, painting, printing, photography, textiles, sculpture and mixed media.

What you need to get on

A grade 6 in the subject at GCSE and satisfactory academic and attitude references. Students will be considered on an individual basis where they can evidence a high level of achievement at a practical level, even if they have not taken the subject at GCSE.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
