Are you looking to hone your skills as an artist or hoping to advance your career in the Art, Design or Animation industries? Perhaps you want to deep dive into the theory and history of Fine Art. A Level Fine Art is suitable for anyone who is passionate about exploring the world of art in an imaginative and personal way, by developing ideas using a range of media. You will be able to unleash your creative flair in a number of different ways, whilst developing a fundamental knowledge of the history and theory behind fine art; from classic pieces throughout history to modern contemporary art.

What you need to get on

3 GCSE passes at a minimum of Grade 4 and 2 at Grade 5, which must include English Language or Literature and Maths at Grade 4.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.

The A-level-equivalent step, and what universities and employers ask for.
