This course can be studied alongside 2 A Levels or 1 A Level and 1 vocational course (as part of our 2+1 offer). This is a really exciting and challenging course for those exceptionally talented mathematicians who have excelled in Maths at GCSE. The course will cover a range of more advanced and theoretical topics that are not on the normal A level Maths specification. Some of these topics include such things as complex numbers, matrices and mathematical proof.

What you need to get on

GCSE Maths grade 8-9 Four GCSEs grade 4-9 including GCSE English Language You must also choose to study A Level Maths An overall average of a grade 4*. *To work out your grade average, add all of your grades together and divide by the number of GCSEs you've taken.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
