What the college says

This is a WJEC Level 3 course which explores the relationship between food, nutrition and health and offers the opportunity for creative, investigative, vocational and analytical study in a practical, applied learning environment. It is assessed through a combination of written examination, projects and case studies to cater for different learning styles.

What you need to get on

You should have achieved 6 GCSEs at least to level 4, including food (if taken at GCSE) and English. You should also show good written English skills and have a dedication to the course. Food GCSE is not a requirement, but those who have done it, should have achieved a Level 4. Otherwise, students should have an interest in Food and Food Science.
