This course is designed to be studied alongside other A-level or BTEC courses as one of your three subject choices. If you have an interest in health, fitness and training and are considering a career in the fitness industry then this is a great course for you.
What you need to get on
Experience of fitness training and gym-based exercises, including free weights, is highly recommended. The course requires physical exertion and individual participation is essential, therefore a degree of physical fitness is necessary.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
