Fine Art is particularly important for those wishing to choose a career in the Arts or a career for which an Art &Design background is relevant. It is essential that students have an interest in Art and that they are self-motivated and prepared to complete work and visit galleries and sites in their own time. An average of 3 hours homework or self-directed study is expected per week.
What you need to get on
In order to gain entry to The Boswells Sixth Form all students must achieve a minimum of 40 points from their best 8 GCSE subjects, including minimum grade 4 in English Language and Maths. You will need a minimum 6 Grade at GCSE in any subject you wish to study at A Level. Subject Specific: Grade 6 in Art, All external students to provide portfolio
