This course is for any budding electricians, who want to gain a recognised qualification, and experience that will aid them in their career to become a competent electrician. The typical electrical learner develops into a confident, intelligent, practically-minded individual, with a capacity to apply maths, science and logic in their approach to problem-solving.Typical tasks of an electrician include:Visits and advises clients on the use and servicing of electrical systems and equipment;Diagnoses and detects faults and implements procedures to maintain efficient operation of systems and equipment;Plans installation methods and prepares work and test schedules for systems and equipment.

What you need to get on

You do not need to have any previous qualifications although all applicants will need to have an interview and an initial assessment to confirm that the course is suitable for them.You will also need stationary, overalls and safety boots.

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
