What the college says
This Level 1 course will provide you with an introduction to electrical installation and the core skills and knowledge you will require to progress towards the journey to becoming a qualified electrician. You will spend most of your time working hands-on in the electrical workshop, developing practical skills and techniques. The course will also cover essential theoretical aspects, underpinning your developing skills in areas such as electrical science and technology.
What you need to get on
A minimum of four GSCEs at grade 3, including English and maths or successful completion of the Foundation Construction qualification and good progress with English and maths.
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

A first step that builds towards Level 2.
