The course aims to develop a thorough comprehension of how the UK and global economies operate so that students can analyse how current economic issues and problems affect our daily lives. In Year 1 students are introduced to both Microeconomics and Macroeconomics and topics studied include demand and supply, markets and market failure as well as UK economic policy in recent years. The course starts with the foundations and builds layer upon layer of understanding: every topic covered will have a distinct purpose and link to the examinations
