What the college says

The Level 2 Diploma in Architectural Bench Joinery is a practical, employer focused course that builds accurate setting out, safe tool and machinery use, and the manufacture of high quality timber components. You will learn to interpret drawings and make doors, windows, frames, stair parts, and bespoke trims, mastering joints, laminating, veneering, fittings, adhesives, and professional finishing to tight tolerances. Assessment blends online knowledge tests, observed practical tasks, and a synoptic project that proves you can plan, set out, and deliver to specification. On completion, progress to an apprenticeship or Level 3, or move into employment with joinery manufacturers, fit out contractors, heritage workshops, or bespoke interiors and furniture companies.
