The CG Diploma in Barbering Level 2 helps you to develop the skills, knowledge and experience to gain a Level 2 qualification and to become a practicing barber. You will be able to practice your skills in our purpose built salons, gaining valuable work experience and covering topics such as consulting clients for hair services, how to style, dress, cut and finish men�s hair, cutting facial hair and colouring.

What you need to get on

Minimum 4 GCSE's at grades 3 - 2 (D - E) or equivalent, including a D in Maths and English, or a Level 1 qualification in a relevant subject area.

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
