Design & Technology: Fashion & Textiles
at Penistone Grammar School, Sheffield · school or sixth form
What the college says
Fashion and Textiles A level examines the social, economic, and technological elements which influence the Textiles industry. You will gain an understanding of how market forces have driven consumer choices relating to fashion and functional use of fibres and fabrics. You will have the opportunity to develop new skills, work with a wide range of textile materials, use complex equipment and become independent learners, (we hope it will be fun as well!). You will be encouraged to take responsibility for your own work and will find your teachers approachable and willing to offer help and advice
