What the college says
This course provides an excellent basis for progression to more advanced courses in Higher Education including Textile Management, Textile Science, Fashion and Textile Design etc. It also provides a platform for a wide range of careers in industry and commerce. Students will realise an increased sensitivity to the wider effects of their work on society and the environment as a result of undertaking this course. It is helpful to have studied GCSE Textiles (and achieved at least a B grade) but this is not essential provided you have a keen interest and potential in this subject.
