What the college says
The Computer Science course provides students with strong foundations for entering the IT world. Topics you will cover include theory of computation, fundamentals of computer science, compliers and operating systems, information theory, basic programming, systems and architecture, software development and testing, web applications and databases, pseudocodes, algorithms and data structures.
What you need to get on
In addition to meeting the 6th form entry requirements students will need to achieve a Grade 6 or above in English GCSE and Mathematics GCSE. Students currently studying GCSE Computer Science will also need a Grade 6 in this qualification.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
