This qualification is for those waiting to enter the Electrical industry. It gives you the opportunity to pick up some core skills and knowledge and gives you the opportunity to progress onto either our Level 2 & 3 Electrical Installation qualifications. These qualifications are aimed at learners who want to learn the basic skills and knowledge of Electrical Installation. This Level is suitable for beginners. You will be learning basic skills and knowledge and will be supervised as you undertake various practical and knowledge based activities.

What you need to get on

No Formal Entry requirements, but a keen interest in the area is essential. You will be required to attend an interview at the college for the courses and we will request a school or college report.

How you are assessed

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

A first step that builds towards Level 2.
