A significant proportion of the total volunteer workforce is volunteering in sport, with most of them involved in sports coaching or activity leadership. BTEC Sport gives you the opportunity to enter employment in the sport and active leisure sector or to progress to higher education in sport or related areas. It also gives you the opportunity to develop a range of techniques, personal skills and attributes essential for successful performance in working life.

What you need to get on

Five GCSE grades 9-4 including English Language and Mathematics Subject Specific: Study of P.E. or Sport at Key Stage 4 is preferred but not required

How you are assessed

One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.
