This is a course for students who love performing and want to develop their skills to a professional standard. You’ll train in the three core disciplines of acting, singing and dance, exploring how they work together to create powerful musical theatre performances. Throughout the course, you’ll study everything from vocal technique and choreography to script interpretation and theatre styles, developing confidence, creativity and stagecraft along the way. At Kesgrave Sixth Form we also have a wide variety of productions that you can be a part of either as an actor, singer, dancer, choreographer, director, designer or backstage crew.

What you need to get on

6 GCSE/BTEC passes at Grade 4 (or equivalent) or above. It is also desirable for students to achieve a Grade 5 or above in the subject (or related subjects) that they wish to study at Sixth Form.
